Refund & Cancellation Policy
This policy applies to payments, donations, registrations, programme fees or other online transactions made through the Website of Adarsh Mithilanchal Development Forum, wherever applicable.
1. Donations
Donations made voluntarily to support our activities are generally treated as final and non-refundable, except where:
A payment was made more than once due to a technical or transaction error;
An incorrect amount was charged due to a technical error;
The transaction was unsuccessful but the amount was debited;
A refund is otherwise required under applicable law.
2. Duplicate Transactions
If the same donation or payment has been processed more than once due to a technical error, the user may contact us for verification.
After verification, the duplicate amount may be refunded through the appropriate payment channel.
3. Failed Transactions
If your bank account or payment method has been debited but the transaction has not been successfully recorded by us, please contact us.
We may require transaction information such as:
Transaction/reference number
Date of transaction
Amount
Name
Registered email or mobile number
Please do not send your UPI PIN, card PIN, password or other confidential payment credentials.
4. Programme/Event Cancellation
If an event or paid programme is cancelled by Adarsh Mithilanchal Development Forum and a refund is applicable, the refund terms will be communicated to registered participants.
If a participant voluntarily cancels participation, refund eligibility will depend upon the specific programme’s cancellation terms.
5. Processing Time
Approved refunds will normally be initiated within a reasonable period after verification.
The actual time for the amount to appear in the user’s account may depend on the bank, payment gateway or other payment service provider.
6. Non-Refundable Contributions
Where clearly identified at the time of payment, certain contributions, donations, sponsorships or support amounts may be non-refundable.
